Quickstart

Prerequisites

Launchr uses Docker and Docker Compose to run your stack during development and production. If you haven't already, please install them now.

Docker Docker Compose

Generate a new project

Templates are generated based on your input. To generate a new project in your current working directory, open up your terminal and run:

pip install cookiecutter
cookiecutter https://github.com/jayfk/launchr

Once your template is generated, change your directory and start the stack by running:

cd project_name
docker-compose -f local.yml up

You should now be able to reach your local development server by visiting http://0.0.0.0:8000/.
